Introduction to MeM at NTU
Combines the theory and practice of engineering with the study of business and resource-based management, entrepreneurial leadership, new business ventures and small-to-medium enterprises.
This Engineering Management postgraduate degree has been designed to meet the increasing demand for postgraduates with an understanding of the application of business and management knowledge in the industrial and engineering sectors. The course will crucially provide you with a master’s level education in the theory and practice of engineering management, integrating aspects of resource-based management, engineering, leadership, change and enterprise, with particular emphasis on new business ventures and small business enterprises.
If you’re looking to work in the engineering and technology industries, this is an excellent fast-track conversion course for graduates from disciplines unrelated to engineering and computing.

You will need the following:
- UK honours degree (minimum 2.2) or equivalent.
- Applicants with relevant employment experience or other relevant qualifications will also be considered.
We specify these minimum entry requirements, but we will assess you individually on your ability to benefit from the course. We sometimes offer places based on non-standard entry qualifications and industrial or professional experience.

To be eligible for an NTU International Scholarship award, you must:

- Be due to enrol on the first year of a new course of study (or year 2 or 3 of an undergraduate course in the case of advanced entry) in September 2023, or January 2024. International students enrolled before January 2023 and due to progress onto the second, third or fourth year of their course of study in September 2023 or January 2024, or repeating the first year of study, are not eligible to apply.

My undergraduate degree is not in an engineering discipline. Am I eligible to apply?
You are eligible to apply if you have earned a Bachelor of Science in a similar science discipline, but you may be at a disadvantage compared to engineering majors who have applied. Please thoroughly review the requirements of the program in the MSME Graduate Handbook to help you decide if you are prepared for our program.
I am currently getting my BS degree. Can I apply for the PhD program?
Yes. Students with a BS degree are eligible to apply to the PhD program.
Are internships considered as work expereince?
You can enter all types of work experience in the Education and Experience section as well as detailing these experiences on your CV (Resumé).
Can I submit GMAT, LSAT, or MCAT scores instead of the GRE test scores to study abroad at Nottingham Trent University, Clifton Campus?
