Introduction to MeM at FUA

The Master’s course covers the key knowledge and skills required for engineering project and resource planning and execution. Eligibility Criteria for MeM at FUA

Academic Qualifications:

  • A four-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited college is required of all students.
  • Students who possess a relevant technical background in engineering, physics, or another related field and meet the aforementioned degree requirement.
  • Students accepted to Stanford have an overall high school GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

Student Eligibility for Indians:

If an Indian student satisfies one of the following requirements, they may apply: completed a 4-year UG degree with a first-class grade from an accredited university in a relevant discipline.

Note: Stanford does not consider a three-year bachelor’s degree in any discipline to be sufficient for graduate study. After receiving a three-year bachelor’s degree from India, you must complete a two-year master’s programme.

  • International students from non-English speaking countries must also meet the basic eligibility standards.

Scholarships Available : MeM at FUA

  1. Stanford Graduate Fellowships
  •  Stanford Graduate Fellowships are given to exceptional graduate students based on their academic ability and research potential. Full tuition and stipend support are offered via fellowships for up to three years.
  • Students must have a high academic record, a demonstrated interest in research, and excellent letters of recommendation in order to be considered for a Stanford Graduate Fellowship.
  • Fellowships are frequently given to graduate students who are just beginning their studies.

2. Scholars at Stanford University

  •  Stanford Knight-Hennessy A highly selective scholarship programme called Scholars offers outstanding graduate students from all across the world full financial support. Scholars are picked based on their academic prowess, capacity for leadership, and dedication to public service.
  • To qualify, Students applying for the Stanford Knight-Hennessy Scholarship must have a high academic record, a commitment to public service that can be seen, and excellent letters of recommendation.
  • There is no set subject of study requirement, and scholarships are given to pupils from all around the world.

3. Management Science and Engineering Department at Stanford University Fellowships

  • Graduate management science and engineering students can apply for a number of fellowships from the Stanford Department of Management Science and Engineering. Scholarships are offered to fund research, stipend, and tuition costs.

5. Fellowships from Stanford University

  • Graduate students from many fields are eligible for a range of fellowships from Stanford University. Fellowships offer financial support funding for research, stipend, and tuition costs.

FAQs About MeM

You are eligible to apply if you have earned a Bachelor of Science in a similar science discipline, but you may be at a disadvantage compared to engineering majors who have applied. Please thoroughly review the requirements of the program in the MSME Graduate Handbook to help you decide if you are prepared for our program.

 Yes. Students with a BS degree are eligible to apply to the PhD program.

You can enter all types of work experience in the Education and Experience section as well as detailing these experiences on your CV (Resumé).

Students who have already received a Master’s degree or an equivalent international advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline are not eligible for admission to Stanford’s MS program in Mechanical Engineering. Students with a Master’s degree in a discipline that does not substantially overlap with Stanford’s MS program may apply.

Students who are already enrolled in a program leading to a Master’s degree or an equivalent international advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline are not eligible for admission to Stanford’s MS program in Mechanical Engineering.

Application Process & timeline
