In the full-time mode, the one-year program entails payment in two instalments of HK$100,000 each. For part-time students, the first year involves two instalments of HK$50,000 each, and the second year requires two instalments of HK$50,000 each.

Continuing Education Fund
SEEM 5840 is included in the list of reimbursable courses for CEF purpose. Students holding the Hong Kong permanent residents can apply for the CEF by submitting the CEF application form BEFORE the course start. A student who earns the unit(s) of that course with attendance over 70% is eligible to apply for reimbursement. Eligible applicants for Continuing Education Fund (CEF) will be reimbursed 80% of their fees, subject to a maximum sum of HK$10,000, on successful completion of a reimbursable course forming part of the Programme.

Specializations & Electives Offered
The curriculum of the SEEM program is designed to provide students with solid and comprehensive training in programming, mathematical modelling, entrepreneurship and management, data science, and various applications. The training is supported by an extensive list of high-quality courses, including not only courses in SEEM but also some courses in computer science and in financial technology.
As an optional choice, the program offers two streams of specialization. The stream of Business Information System focuses on the business information system aspect of data science and on applications in E-commence and technological innovation. The stream of Decision Analytics focuses on the decisions analytics aspect of data science and on applications in financial engineering, logistic and supply chain management, and service engineering and management.

Is there any double-degree option offered?
The Faculty of Engineering, in collaboration with the Faculty of Business Administration, is offering double degree options in Engineering and Business Administration. Students admitted to the 4-year curriculum can graduate with two bachelor degrees in 5 years. More information can be found at http://www.erg.cuhk.edu.hk/erg/ergbba.
Can I apply for both MSc in ECLT and MSc in SEEM which are both offered by the Division of SEEM?
Yes. Applications will be considered by different panel members of MSc in ECLT and MSc in SEEM separately.
Are internships considered as work expereince?
You can enter all types of work experience in the Education and Experience section as well as detailing these experiences on your CV (Resumé).
