Machen Florida Opportunity Scholarships (MFOS) are created to make sure that students who are eligible will not need to work or take out loans in order to attend UF, but rather will have their needs completely supplied by grants and scholarships. Awards are given to Florida residents who are undergraduate renewal students and first-year college freshmen.

Benacquisto Scholarship

For in-state high school graduates who are named National Merit Scholars, there is a merit scholarship program called the Benacquisto Scholarship Program.
