Durham’s generous scholarship program honors and recognizes deserving applicants to our Online MBA program. These scholarships are for the Online MBA’s September 2023 intake. All individuals who have accepted an unconditional offer for an online MBA will be automatically considered for any available scholarships; no separate scholarship application is required. Scholarships will be applied as a discount off the program’s full tuition cost.
Scholarships (discounted tuition) cover the typical program completion periods.
Scholarships (discounts on tuition) cannot be transferred or postponed. They can only be used by scholarship recipients during the academic year for which they were given the scholarship. Those who want to postpone enrollment will be given consideration for any scholarships offered in the entering year. Scholarship offers during the next year of entrance are not guaranteed if a scholarship is accepted prior to deferral.
There is no need for a separate application. An applicant will automatically be given consideration for a scholarship once they receive a place offer; no additional application is required. Only those who are chosen to get scholarships (discounts on tuition) will be informed. All decisions regarding scholarships (discounts on tuition fees) are made solely at the School’s discretion. If a spot on the program is not filled, there is no cash alternative to be given.
You can select two extra courses to study that are most interesting to you and pertinent to your future job, depending on your career goals. Alternately, you can select to study two modules as part of a defined pathway that focuses on technology, consulting, or entrepreneurship.

No. All Online MBA students are given a Durham email address which will be the principal means by which the University and the Business School contacts you during your programme. It is particularly important that you check it regularly.
No, the final certificate is the same as that awarded to full-time students. It will simply state that Durham University has awarded an MBA. If a student requests an official transcript of marks, the module title includes whether the module is online or taught.
Assessment for each module differs and may include essays, assignments, projects, business reports, case analyses, learning logs, presentations, online exercises, and case study based exercises. There are no invigilated exams.
