I was thrilled to be selected for an online interview for the Management MSc program at Bayes Business School. The interview began with the classic “Tell me about yourself,” allowing me to provide a brief overview of my academic and professional journey. The conversation then took an intriguing turn with questions like:
- If you were tasked with reimagining the traditional office space for a post-pandemic world, what innovative elements would you incorporate?
- Share an instance where you had to make a critical decision with limited information. How did you approach it?
- How do you handle ambiguity in a project, and can you share an example from your past experiences?
- Discuss a book, podcast, or article related to management that has influenced your thinking. How has it shaped your perspective?
- If you were to mentor a junior colleague in the field of management, what advice would you give them?
MiM Interview Experience 2:
After the initial application assessment, I received an invitation for an online interview for the Management MSc program. Here is how it went:
- Tell me about a project where you had to balance conflicting priorities. How did you manage it?
- If you were to launch a new product in an oversaturated market, what strategies would you employ to ensure its success?
- Estimate the number of bicycles in London. Walk me through your thought process.
- How do you think advancements in artificial intelligence will shape the future of management practices?
- Describe a situation where you had to adapt your leadership style to motivate a team with diverse personalities. What was the outcome?
- If you had the opportunity to attend a seminar on an emerging management concept, what topic would you choose, and why?
- In your opinion, what role does emotional intelligence play in effective management, and how have you applied it in your career?
- Share an example of a project where you implemented data-driven decision-making. What impact did it have on the project’s success?

- If you were to create a management strategy inspired by a historical event, which event would you choose, and what would the strategy entail?
- How do you approach risk management in a project, and can you share a specific example where this approach was crucial?
- If you had the opportunity to collaborate with any business leader, living or historical, who would it be, and what project would you want to work on together?
- Describe a situation where you had to lead a team through a period of uncertainty. What leadership qualities did you emphasize during this time?
- In your opinion, what is the most critical skill for a manager in today’s rapidly changing business landscape, and how do you cultivate that skill in yourself?
MiM Interview Experience-5
My interview for the Management MSc program at Bayes Business School was unexpectedly enjoyable! We started with the usual background chat, but things got interesting fast.
I found myself estimating the market size for a made-up fitness-meets-productivity product and brainstorming a management strategy inspired by a historical event.
Sharing stories of influencing decisions without formal authority and talking about cool innovations in management practices felt like chatting about my favorite business experiences.
The interviewer’s knack for tossing in these unique questions with such a relaxed vibe turned what could’ve been a regular interview into a fun and engaging chat.
