NC State’s Master of Engineering Management degree provides you the skills necessary to manage and succeed in today’s complex technical environments.

The MEM prepares students for the challenges of solving real-world problems. At the heart of the MEM curriculum is the practicum, a learning experience that gives students the opportunity to conduct actual projects with our industry partners.

The practicum spans four months and finishes with an executive-level report and presentation to you, our sponsor. Students work to understand and solve your business problem under confidentiality agreements and the results are your sole property. The project is managed by the program and there is no sponsorship fee.
