All domestic and international students studying at the University of Melbourne must satisfy the University of Melbourne English Language Entry Requirements.You must satisfy the requirements below in one sitting and the test must be have been taken within the last 24 months (2 years) preceding application.

All applicants for our programs are automatically considered for scholarships based on academic merit. No separate applications for scholarships are necessary. Scholarships may be awarded at the time of your course offer or after the application deadlines. If you do not receive a scholarship offer at the time your course offer you may still receive an offer later.
Engineering and IT Foundation Graduate Scholarships
Engineering and IT Foundation Graduate Scholarships are available to both domestic and international students into all engineering and IT programs. Approximately 150 scholarships are awarded each year, valued at $5,000–$10,000 per annum. These scholarship offers are made at the time of course offer.
JH Mirams Memorial Scholarships
Up to six scholarships of $5,000 each are awarded each year to students entering our Specialised Masters programs.
Women in Engineering & IT
Melbourne School of Engineering is committed to improving access to engineering for women. Scholarships valued at $10,000–$20,000 are available to high-achieving female students through the Melbourne School of Engineering Scholarships. The Graduate Access Melbourne program also offers a small number of bursaries valued at $5,000 for females who enter via this scheme.
Graduate Access Melbourne
If you are a domestic student who has experienced adverse circumstances that affected your tertiary results, you may apply for entry via the Graduate Access Melbourne program. A limited number of bursaries of $5,000 are awarded as part of this entry scheme.
We have recently expanded the number of scholarships available to support graduate students who want to take up study with us in 2022. When applying, you’ll automatically be considered for domestic or international student scholarships. Find out what you may be eligible for.
Students must complete both subjects:
Change management specialisation
Students must complete three specialisation subjects including at least two of the following subjects, plus up to one of the Project management specialisation subjects.
Students may complete up to one subject from the Project management specialisation subjects
Electives
Students must select three electives (37.5 points).
Applicants must meet the minimum entry requirements to be considered for admission to our Graduate Coursework programs. Domestic Applicants who have had their academic standing impacted by circumstances beyond their control can consider our special entry scheme Graduate Access Melbourne (GAM).
Some of our programs will require applicants to have completed specific prerequisite subjects. Please refer to the specific entry requirements for the course you are interested in studying for more information.
The University’s Community Access Program allows you to undertake single-subject study without being enrolled in a course. You can complete prerequisite subjects that you need to qualify for entry via the Community Access Program and then apply for this course.
You can enter all types of work experience in the Education and Experience section as well as detailing these experiences on your CV (Resumé).
Advanced Standing (credit for prior study) is assessed upon application to the course. Our Academic Committee for Selection will examine your transcripts and course syllabus for subject equivalency whilst assessing your application for admission. You will need to provide detailed syllabus or subject description, including all maths and science subjects: Download a syllabus example [RTF file]
Ensure your syllabus is thorough and complete and contains as much detail as possible so you can be assessed for the maximum amount of credit. Applications for additional credit after admission will not be considered unless there has been a major change to your transcript.
If your course application is successful, you will be notified of the credit you are eligible to receive in your offer letter.
After you have accepted your offer, the team at Stop 1 will be able to assist you with further enquiries around enrolment and course planning. There are some useful guides and an appointment booking system available online.
We strongly advise all our clients to have a proper excel sheet or a timetables mapped out.
