What would you want your classmates to know about you that is not on your resume?

As an avid traveller, I have explored over 50% of India, Singapore, and New York City. This passion for exploring diverse cultures has enriched my perspective and deepened my understanding of global interconnectedness. I am also a classical Indian dancer with over 50 stage performances, a testament to my dedication and love for the arts. These experiences have not only shaped my worldview but also instilled in me a deep appreciation for diversity and inclusion, which I am eager to bring to the Darden community.

Please describe a tangible example that illuminates your experience promoting an inclusive environment and what you would bring to creating a welcoming, global community at Darden.

During my tenure at Bank of America, I spearheaded initiatives that significantly enhanced the inclusivity of our work environment. As an integral member of the Women in Technology (WIT) and Employee Engagement clubs, I actively contributed to creating a workplace where everyone felt valued and heard. One notable example was leading a project to introduce advanced automation techniques, which not only improved efficiency by 20% but also ensured that team members from diverse backgrounds could contribute equally without the barrier of technical limitations.

In addition to my technical contributions, I organized and facilitated workshops focusing on unconscious bias and cultural sensitivity. At this time, how would you describe your short-term, post-graduate goals in terms of industry, function, geography, company size, and/or mission, and how does it align with the long-term vision you have for your career?

Post-MBA, my short-term goal is to transition into a Product Manager role in the fintech industry, preferably with a dynamic startup. My extensive experience in leading core banking transformations and my deep-rooted passion for fintech position me well for this role. I aim to work in a company that is committed to democratizing financial services and enhancing digital literacy, especially in underserved regions.

Geographically, I am open to opportunities in major fintech hubs such as Singapore, New York, or San Francisco, where I can leverage my global experience and network. The agility and innovative spirit of startups appeal to me as they align with my desire to drive product innovation and business growth strategies.

In the long term, I envision myself leading a fintech enterprise that focuses on making financial services more accessible and inclusive globally. My mission is to bridge the gap between technology and finance, ensuring that advancements benefit all segments of society.
