Eligibility Criteria : MiM at VBS

Candidates studying in Belgium need a Masters degree from a recognized institution.

Candidates from outside Belgium can apply with a Master’s degree or a 3 to 4-year Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution (there may be additional requirements too).

Take your admissions test 

There are three elements in your admissions test:  

  • Vlerick Online Test  – Vlerick accepts their own in-house analytical test, numerical reasoning (and abstract reasoning if applicable), GMAT (minimum 600), or GRE (157 verbal and 158 quantitative). 
  • Motivational interview – Using a standard set of questions, Vlerick assesses the match between you and the program. This interview takes place online and lasts about 20 minutes.

Application Deadlines - MiM at VBS

Vlerick Business School processes applications for the Master in General Management (MGM) program on a rolling basis from October, for the following September intake. This means that applications are reviewed and decisions are made as they are received.

However, it is important to note that admissions are on a first-come, first-served basis. This means that the earlier you apply, the more likely you are to be admitted.

If you do not need a visa to study in Belgium, you have until June to apply to the MGM program. However, it is advisable to apply early, especially if you are interested in receiving a scholarship or financial aid.

If you do need a visa to study in Belgium, it is recommended that you apply to the MGM program by the end of April for the September intake.

This will give you enough time to process your visa application and obtain your student visa before the start of the program.

Academic Merit Scholarship

The Academic Merit Scholarship is awarded to students with outstanding academic records. 

To qualify for this scholarship, you must have a study record equal to great or greatest distinction at the bachelor’s level for Belgian degrees, or study results within the top 20% of your class at the bachelor’s level for non-Belgian degrees. 

You may also qualify for this scholarship if you have obtained outstanding GMAT (> 700) or GRE (> 164 quantitative and > 163 verbal) scores.

Equal Opportunity Scholarship

The Equal Opportunity Scholarship is awarded to students who promote diversity and inclusion.
