Carnegie Mellon MeM Application Essay 2023-24
- Please write a concise essay for each of the following four questions. If you’re a Dual Degree applicant, you should address goals for both the ETIM program and the particular engineering program you’re interested in pursuing:
- Other than reputation, what most interests you about attending this graduate program in the College of Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University?
- What are your goals after you complete your degree, and how will our graduate program help you achieve your immediate and longer-term future career objectives?
- What specific research is of interest to you and how would our program enable you to pursue your goals?
- Describe how your work, research, educational or other life experiences have prepared you for graduate study in this program?
Carnegie Mellon MeM Letter of recommendation 2023-2024
You’re required to submit three letters of recommendation.
Typically, letters are written by professors or work supervisors. At least one of your three recommendations must be from your professional experience and one from a professor at the educational institution you last attended.
Letters of recommendation and recommendation letter forms are submitted through the ETIM online application. If you choose this method, you must apply to the ETIM program with the online application.
