Depending on your previous degree and background, the ESSEC MSBA Curriculum offers either a 2-year (M1+M2) or 1-year (M2 only) Program by combining the academic resources of a Top Business School and a Top Engineering School, in Paris and Singapore.

If you’ve pursued or are still pursuing:

– A minimum of a 3-year Bachelor’s degree or a License 3 degree will allow you to finish the Program in two years (M1+M2).

– A minimum of a 4-year Bachelor’s or Master’s degree; you can finish the Program in one year (M2).

The approach exposes students to the technological and commercial concerns that underpin the AI and digital revolution period and is grounded in the theory, methodology, uses, and applications of Data Sciences & Business Analytics.

You will begin the Program in M2, and the overall length of the Program is 1 year (M2), or you will continue with the second year of the Program (M2) if you started in M1. This depends on your background and most recent degree.

Two academic terms in this year (M2) are dedicated to learning data science, business analytics, and digital strategy. The content of the courses is highly specialized, focuses on current issues, and is tailored to your unique career goals.

Period 1: Build your Foundations at ESSEC and at CentraleSupelec in France

You would always begin the Program in France, regardless of your eventual major choice. You will enroll in the following Core Courses and Refreshers during the first period, which spans from September to December.

Corporate Research Project

In the M2 year, a Corporate Research Project runs from October to March. Students use their own data to work in teams to find answers to important strategic problems given by partner organizations, giving them the opportunity to learn important lessons and become directly operational.

International Field Trip

The International Field Trip is a one-week travel in the M2 year to meet important business players, local experts, and business executives from around the world and challenge your understanding of best practices and new analytics applications being developed in other nations. Masterclasses
