Eligibility Criteria for MSc in Finance at Bath

They require a Bachelor degree with a final overall result of at least First Class. However, due to the number of different grading scales in use, we ask that you upload a copy of the grading scale used by your institution, along with your transcript, when you submit your application.

Type of degree

Your degree can be in any discipline but you must have studied a subject with quantitative content.

If you studied your undergraduate degree in the UK, your qualification must be equivalent to a 2:1 or above.

We may make an offer based on a lower grade if you can provide evidence of your suitability for the degree.

Work experience

In exceptional cases, relevant work experience may be a substitute for the degree requirement. You should have no more than three years’ relevant work experience.

You will need an International English Language Test System (IELTS) score of at least 6.5 overall. Your scores for reading, writing, listening and speaking must be at least 6.0.
