Typical Interview Method:

Interviews usually include numerous steps to evaluate an applicant’s profile. Based on academic records, essays, and recommendation letters, individuals are shortlisted. Interviews might be face-to-face, telephonic, or video-based for shortlisted candidates.

The interview assesses an applicant’s topic knowledge, problem-solving, communication, critical thinking, and programme fit. They may ask broad and particular questions to gauge the applicant’s intelligence. Interviewers analyse motivation, personality, and fit with the institution’s ideals in addition to academic ability.

HEC Paris MiF Interview Questions – 1

HEC Paris Alumini took a virtual HEC Paris interview on Skype with Sam. He shared the following interview experience in a letter to us: I took part in two telephone and Skype interviews with former HEC students and employees. An Accenture employee from 2011 who is presently the engagement manager performed the interview over the phone. Including the 10-minute PowerPoint presentation that was initially scheduled to be provided during the interview, the session lasted around 25 minutes. The questions asked were generally in accordance with those listed in the handbook.

 1. Would you kindly tell me a little bit about your upbringing, qualifications, and work experience?

 2. Why do finance? What is the cause of the present time?

 4. It was instructed to identify one possible area of strength and one potential area of weakness.

 5. I was questioned about investigating the present emphasis of major oil firms in terms of technical breakthroughs and innovations because I had professional experience in the oil and gas industry.
