The graduate program in Engineering Management is designed to provide advanced studies for the graduate engineer who wishes to continue preparation in the profession of engineering manager or project director/leader. 

The program provides continuing education in advanced engineering and business/management subjects for the working engineer who acknowledges the need to stay abreast of the rapidly changing technological and business world.  Emphasis is placed on the development of the engineer’s capacity for independent study and continued professional growth.

Eligibility Criteria for MeM at Gannon University

  1. Applicants must have earned a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program or its equivalent, with a GPA of 2.5 or better.

  2. Applicants without the appropriate Engineering degree may be admitted and required to take additional course work as determined by the program director.

  3. Applicants must submit the following:
    • Completed application
    • Transcripts for all prior college course work
    • Three recommendation letters
    • TOEFL scores if English is not a first language.

Scholarships Available : MeM at Gannon University

Presidential Scholarship*Full TuitionEligible candidates must apply and be accepted to the University by December 15. The top 10 percent of accepted students by this date will be invited to compete in a scholarship contest with the ability to earn a full tuition scholarship. Up to the top 8 participants in the scholarship contest will receive full tuition scholarships.
Founders Scholarship*up to $24,000All students who are invited and choose to participate in the above mentioned contest will have their Admissions Merit award increased by $1,000. Up to the top 8 participants in the scholarship contest will receive full tuition scholarships. Details of the scholarship contest are included with students’ acceptance letters.
Academic Excellence Award*$22,000 – $23,000Award amounts are based on academic merit as well as SAT/ACT scores. Students who perform exceptionally well may have the opportunity to increase their scholarship/award amount and receive either the Presidential or Founders Scholarships.
Knight Achievement Award*$20,000- $21,000Award is based on academic merit as well as SAT/ACT scores.
Maroon & Gold Award*$18,000Award amounts are based on academic merit as well as SAT/ACT scores.

The MSEM program consists of 30 credit hours of coursework, including core courses in engineering management, business fundamentals, and leadership. Students also have the option to choose electives in a variety of specialized areas, such as project management, quality management, and engineering design.
