Academic Excellence Scholarship: The Academic Excellence Scholarships (AES) are offered each year to incoming, first-time-college freshmen. Award criteria and amounts vary with each applicant cohort. The completed application file for admission to the University serves as the AES application. No additional information or scholarship submission is required for AES.
Comet Scholars Program: This scholarship can be used to cover education related expenses including tuition, fees and housing. Each student will receive $5,000 per year for a maximum of eight semesters of undergraduate study. Students receive more than just a financial award through this program. Comet Scholars also receive academic support from program staff to assist them in successfully transitioning to UT Dallas.

Post-baccalaureate work experience is required; however, exceptions/waivers are considered for prior internship experience or an exceptionally strong academic record. If you have less than two years work experience, you will be considered for waiver automatically with the submission of your application.
