Eligibility Criteria for MBA at Texas A&M
Academic Qualifications:
The admissions committee reviews applicants in the following areas:
- a minimum of two years of full-time work experience, with management experience
- competitive GMAT/GRE scores (50th percentile or higher for verbal and quantitative sections)
- completion of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with strong academic performance in the last 60 hours
- performance during the personal interview process (interviews are by invitation)

- For international students, TOEFL scores above a minimum of 600 on the paper test or 250 on the computerized version. If presenting the TOEFL iBT, a score of 100 is required. As an alternative to the TOEFL, international students may present the IELTS with a score of 7 or higher
Student Eligibility for Indians:
If you don’t have a Master’s degree, your three-year undergraduate degree from India, Bangladesh, or Pakistan won’t be approved.
Additionally, if a bachelor’s degree is first earned, the Association of Indian Universities recognizes the Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants final examination as the equivalent of an Indian master’s degree for higher studies for Indian students with 3-year bachelor’s degrees. The Institute of Chartered Accounts must grant applicants associate memberships when they have fulfilled all qualifications.

- Resident tuition status: In addition to MBA Scholarships, all admitted students who are not Texas Residents (including International students) are also considered for in-state tuition waivers as part of their total scholarship package. Fellowships
Texas A&M University offers several significant fellowship opportunities for incoming graduate students which include full tuition coverage plus a monthly stipend.
