Eligibility Criteria for MBA at Frankfurt

- Excellent written and spoken English language skills (minimum score TOEFL 90 IBT, IELTS 7.0 or equivalent).
Student Eligibility for Indians:
If an Indian student satisfies one of the following requirements, they may apply: completed a 3-year UG degree with a first-class grade from an accredited university in a relevant discipline.
Note: Stanford does not consider a three-year bachelor’s degree in any discipline to be sufficient for graduate study. After receiving a three-year bachelor’s degree from India, you must complete a two-year master’s programme.

- The fee for the Frankfurt School MBA Admission Test will be waived for Frankfurt School alumni and once admitted to the Full-time MBA program, they are eligible to receive an alumni discount of 10% of their studies. My undergraduate degree is not in an engineering discipline. Am I eligible to apply?
You are eligible to apply if you have earned a Bachelor of Science in a similar science discipline, but you may be at a disadvantage compared to engineering majors who have applied. Please thoroughly review the requirements of the program in the MSME Graduate Handbook to help you decide if you are prepared for our program.
I am currently getting my BS degree. Can I apply for the PhD program?
Yes. Students with a BS degree are eligible to apply to the PhD program.
Are internships considered as work expereince?
You can enter all types of work experience in the Education and Experience section as well as detailing these experiences on your CV (Resumé).
I already have a MS degree in another discipline. Am I eligible to apply for an MS degree in Mechanical Engineering at Stanford?
Students who have already received a Master’s degree or an equivalent international advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline are not eligible for admission to Stanford’s MS program in Mechanical Engineering. Students with a Master’s degree in a discipline that does not substantially overlap with Stanford’s MS program may apply.
I am currently enrolled in a Master's degree program or a combined Bachelor’s/Master's program. Am I eligible to apply for an MS degree in Mechanical Engineering at Stanford?
Students who are already enrolled in a program leading to a Master’s degree or an equivalent international advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline are not eligible for admission to Stanford’s MS program in Mechanical Engineering.
