Eligibility Criteria for MBA at Babson
Academic Qualifications:
- A four-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited college is required of all students.
- Students accepted to Babson have an overall high school GPA of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale.
Student Eligibility for Indians:
If an Indian student satisfies one of the following requirements, they may apply: completed a 4-year UG degree with a first-class grade from an accredited university in a relevant discipline.
Note: Babson does not consider a three-year bachelor’s degree in any discipline to be sufficient for graduate study. After receiving a three-year bachelor’s degree from India, you must complete a two-year master’s program.

- Babson Diversity Leadership Scholarship
- Babson is home to the leaders of tomorrow. Graduate students with exemplary leadership potential are eligible for awards ranging from $10,000 to $30,000, depending on your program. You also can receive partial funding for conferences and community engagement, because we know that the best leaders work across locations and disciplines.
2. Women’s Leadership Awards
- We believe in diversity in the boardroom, in business, and on Babson’s own campus. Women’s Leadership Awards are provided in the amount of $10,000 to MSEL, MSF, MSBA, and Two-Year MBA students, and $15,000 to students in the One-Year MBA program. Candidates are leaders who can show how Babson will allow their leadership potential to flourish.
3. Family Entrepreneurship Scholarship
- We’re proud to offer the Family Entrepreneurship Scholarship, where you’ll have the opportunity to participate in important events and the latest projects with the Bertarelli Institute for Family Entrepreneurship (BIFE). Recipients in the Two-Year MBA program receive $10,000 per academic year. Recipients in the One-Year MBA and MSEL programs receive $15,000 per academic year.
4. Stanford President’s MBA Scholars
- The prestigious President’s Scholarship is awarded to exemplary students who take initiative in and beyond the classroom. President’s Scholars in the Two-Year MBA program receive $42,500 per academic year. Scholars in the One-Year MBA program receive $45,000 per academic year. Scholars in our full-time MS programs receive $30,000 per academic year.
5. ROMBA Fellowship
- At Babson, we believe business is inclusive. Reaching Out LGBT MBA Fellows receive $10,000 per academic year in the One-Year MBA and Two-Year MBA programs. ROMBA Fellows are active in the Babson community as well as the larger Reaching Out Inc. network, where you’ll connect with mentors and participate in programs created for LGBT business leaders and allies.

FAQs About MBA
How long does it take to complete Part-time MBa program?
Students who want full location flexibility should choose our fully Online MBA. Faculty and all students will meet for regular synchronous class sessions online, typically on weeknights. In this format, students can take courses from anywhere (although the meeting times may favor the U.S. Eastern time zone).
On the other hand, students who generally prefer an in-person learning environment, but need some occasional flexibility to fit Babson courses into their busy professional and personal lives, will prefer the Flex MBA.
What can I do with Boston MBA?
Students who have earned their MBA at Babson have gone on to lead at organizations like Amazon, Apple, Boston Consulting Group, Salesforce, Takeda, and Wayfair, in roles including Head of Innovation, Creative Manager, Director of Business Development, and Senior Product Manager.
Is Financial available for Part-time MBA?
Yes. Financial aid in the form of loans, scholarships, and grants is available for U.S. citizens and permanent residents as well as international students to apply for. All applicants to the PTMBA can be considered for merit-based scholarships as part of their application review. Babson will also evaluate academic transcripts for potential Advanced Standing Credit for some core courses.
