The Master’s Degree Programme in International Management (MIM) is a unique programme aimed at young graduates motivated to become global managers. It combines theory and practice, bridges academia and industry, and integrates hard and soft skills. The MIM Programme blends traditional courses with learning labs to promote critical thinking and push students to think systematically about culturally and intellectually demanding tasks.
This programme exposes students to top academic executives to develop the business skills required to operate in international contexts. Students will learn through interactive lectures, live case discussions, field projects and group work, thus acquiring the tools and techniques necessary to build the skill set required for international management challenges.
The Programme is held in Rome, at the Luiss Business School.
The Master in International Management is a one-year Master of Science equivalent to “Master Universitario di I livello” in accordance with the Italian university system. It provides students with at least 65 ECTS – European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System. At the end of the Programme, the Master’s Diploma “Master Universitario di I livello” will be conferred to participants who have passed exams or others assessment tests envisaged in the study program.

Tuition for this Master is €18,000. Payment is made in four instalments. Tuition includes materials and access to all Luiss Business School facilities. Apart from that, here is the living expenses yearly.

International degrees and qualifications will have to go through an assessment by the Admission Office, who will evaluate if they are eligible for the admission to the academic programme, according to the Italian academic system.

The eligibility of a foreign degree for the access to a specific Master offered by Luiss Business School falls within its competence as a Higher Education Institution which receives the request for its recognition, according to Art. 2 and 3 of Law 148/02. The School will evaluate the qualification under its own autonomy, except for specific bilateral agreements. Assessment criteria and the necessary documentation for the evaluation will be established by the School.

General management courses aim to give all students the necessary business management foundations in order to better understand new concepts that will be introduced during the core and advanced courses. The general management courses provide students with an overview that is highly useful upon entering the job market.
The core courses introduce students to industry-focused concepts that are specific to this major. These courses provide students with the key principles and skills they need to better understand their chosen sector.
The advanced courses provide students with an in-depth perspective on specific aspects of international business, adopting a more practical approach.
Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university, a strong academic record, and proficiency in English. GMAT or GRE scores are not required, but may be submitted as optional supporting materials.
The MIM program is a full-time program that runs for one year. The program is divided into three terms:
Students have the option to complete an internship in the third term of the program. Internships can be done in Italy, the Netherlands, or anywhere in the world.
