Prospective overseas students in SMU’s Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA) program would do well to familiarize themselves with the tuition and living costs involved. A monthly budget of about S$2000 will cover the total cost of living in Singapore, including housing, utilities, transportation, telecommunications, books, stationery, and personal needs. Depending on the style and location of residence, monthly rates might vary widely, from S$250 to S$800.
The anticipated monthly cost of transportation is S$200, while utilities and telecoms cost between S$40 and S$100 and S$50 respectively. Personal costs, such as mobile phone use and food, generally run from S$100 to S$300 each month, while textbooks and stationary cost roughly S$200 every semester. Co-designed by leading global and regional sector firms (from hospitality, tourism, supply chain, retail, healthcare, public sector, banking and telecommunications), it promises a systematic understanding and application of the end-to-end data analytics processes to answer key business questions. 1. The MITB Excellence Scholarship is open to students of any nationality and is awarded before matriculation. It helps offset tuition fee billing for the first billing cycle, making it an excellent financial support option for prospective MITB students.
2. The MITB Scholarship is also available to students of any nationality, and it’s awarded before matriculation. However, the disbursement of this scholarship occurs upon successful completion of the MITB program, providing financial assistance for the entire duration of the program.
3. The SMU ASEAN PG Scholarship is specifically designed for citizens of ASEAN member and observer nations. Awarded before matriculation, it helps offset the tuition fee billing for the first billing cycle, making it an attractive opportunity for eligible ASEAN students pursuing their education at SMU.
4. The Soegiarto Adikoesoemo Postgraduate Scholarship is exclusively for citizens of Indonesia. It’s awarded before matriculation and helps offset tuition fee billings, making it a valuable source of financial support for Indonesian students pursuing a postgraduate degree at SMU.
5. The Richard Lim Lee Scholarship is available to citizens of the Philippines, Singapore Citizens, or Singapore Permanent Residents. Awarded before matriculation, this scholarship offsets tuition fee billings, offering significant financial assistance to eligible students from these regions.
6. The Vingroup Young Talent Scholarship is designed for students of Vietnamese origin and is awarded before matriculation. It helps offset tuition fee billings, providing valuable support to Vietnamese students pursuing their studies at SMU.
7. The Singapore Tech Talent Scholarship is exclusive to Singapore Citizens. Awarded before matriculation, this scholarship provides financial support to local students pursuing the MITB program, with disbursement occurring upon program completion.
8. The SAS Institute MITB Scholarship is available to Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents. While awarded after the completion of the first term, it offers financial support that is disbursed upon successful completion of the MITB program, helping to offset educational costs.
9. The Post-graduate Science Research Scholarship is open to students of any nationality. Awarded after the first school term, this scholarship is disbursed upon successful completion of the MITB program, providing financial support to students pursuing research-oriented studies.
10. The SAS Institute Top MITB Student Award is open to students of any nationality and is disbursed upon successful program completion. It recognizes and rewards the top MITB student, providing a prestigious acknowledgment of academic excellence.
11. The IMDA Gold Medal Award is available to students of any nationality and is disbursed upon successful program completion. This award recognizes outstanding achievement and excellence, making it a noteworthy honor for high-achieving MITB students.
Please note that scholarship availability is subject to change, and each student is eligible for only one scholarship award, with the highest applicable scholarship amount being granted in cases of eligibility for multiple scholarships. No separate application is required unless otherwise stated, and eligible candidates will be automatically considered, with shortlisted candidates informed via email.

You can enter all types of work experience in the Education and Experience section as well as detailing these experiences on your CV (Resumé).
Information on how to complete module registration will be made available about a month before term starts.
All classes are held either on weekday evenings from 7pm onwards, Saturday mornings, or Saturday afternoons. These timings have been chosen to accommodate the working schedules of our part-time students who are concurrently working and our full-time students who are engaged with industry attachments.
However, full-time students may have some weekday morning or afternoon classes (8.15am, 12pm or 3.30pm onwards) in their first term.
We strongly advise all our clients to have a proper excel sheet or a timetables mapped out.
Once you are done with GMAT the entire application process usually take 4-6 weeks
