Cost of Attendance Recommendations:
Knowing how much college will set you back is essential for sound financial planning. Estimated costs for financial aid are provided by the University of Michigan to help students budget for their education.
The estimates provided here are all-inclusive and cover the life of the program. The cost of attendance budget was finalized by the University of Michigan Regents in June 2022 for the 2023 cohort, so keep that in mind if you’re planning on enrolling in the summer of 2024. Cohort 2024’s final budget will be released in June of that year.
The expected expenses for the Master of Science in Business Analytics are as follows:
- Books & Supplies: $1,591 – The expected price of textbooks, required reading, and other school supplies are included below. You need to set aside money for these costs to guarantee that you will have everything you need to succeed in your academic pursuits.
- Budget for Housing and Food: $23,149- The cost of living is heavily impacted by necessities like food and shelter. All lodging and food costs for the whole program are included in this estimate. Whether a student lives in on-campus or off-campus accommodation or makes alternative arrangements, their housing costs may change.
- Expenses for Self: $8,477 – Clothing, toiletries, transportation, and other incidental purchases are all examples of personal expenses. Maintaining a pleasant and productive lifestyle while studying is possible only with careful planning of one’s personal budget.
- Loan costs: $280 – If you are utilizing a loan to pay for school, you may be subject to loan costs. You should account for these charges as part of your financial preparations, as they cover the administrative costs of borrowing.
These ballpark figures are useful for budgeting purposes, but it’s important to remember that actual expenses could wind up being more or less than this range. Tuition is not included in this breakdown since it varies widely depending on variables like residency status and program-specific fees and is therefore difficult to generalize.
