McGill MSBA Interview Experience-1
Recently, I engaged in a conversation with an interviewer from McGill University. I had the opportunity to participate in an interview conducted by Jonathan Khayat. The interaction resembled a dialogue rather than a formal interview. The interviewer posed conventional questions related to the MSBA programme, without any complex or probing inquiries. The interview duration was limited to a mere 15 minutes, making it the briefest interview experience I have encountered. The interviewer informed me that the outcome of the interview would be communicated within a timeframe of 2 to 3 weeks.
Interview Questions:
– Introduction regarding my background and qualifications.
– What is your motivation for pursuing a Master of Science in Business Analytics at this time?
– Several additional questions
– Requesting clarification on current professional role and responsibilities
– My limitations
– What strategies would you employ to effectively handle a conflict situation?
– Five minutes will be allocated for the purpose of addressing any questions.
Tips and Comments-
In general, the experience was highly positive, as I appreciated the interviewer’s supportive and amiable demeanour.
McGill MSBA Interview Experience-2
The interview for the McGill MSBA Programme took place on January 04, 2023. I had the opportunity to participate in an interview conducted by Mr Zsolt Kekesi. The conversation commenced with the customary exchange of pleasantries pertaining to the New Year’s festivities, as well as a discussion on the accurate pronunciation of our respective names (despite my expectation that he would mispronounce mine, I myself mispronounced his name on several occasions). The individual expressed their intention to actively engage in the listening process, despite their simultaneous note-taking and deliberate avoidance of eye contact with the webcam for this purpose.

McGill MSBA Interview Experience-3
I submitted my application on October 30th, and subsequently received notification on November 16th that I had been granted an interview opportunity for the McGill MSBA Programme. However, I required a request for a delay as I had to depart from Canada for a duration of three weeks. Having established residency in this location, I successfully conducted an interview on the premises of the educational institution on December 17th, 2018.
Rather than constituting an interview, the interaction assumed the form of a dialogue.
Basic inquiries such as:
1. Could you kindly provide me with an overview of your job, including the various roles and responsibilities that you undertake?
2. Subsequent inquiries regarding the enterprise in which I am presently employed.
3. Elucidate a typical workday within the scope of your professional responsibilities. During the course of my response, she interjected to rectify my misunderstanding of her statement, which I had initially misinterpreted as referring to a challenging day at work.
4. She proceeded to inquire about the nature of my challenging workday.
5. The individual’s long-term career objectives and 10-year plan.
6. Experience in Volunteering and Supplementary Details.
7. Are there any inquiries that you would like to pose to the interviewer?
Tips:
I have been asked all of the questions. The interview was relaxed. There is no cause for concern. Wishing you the utmost success.
