Fees: Students have the option of spreading the cost of the program into three equal payments. Retention costs, totalling HK$170,000, are submitted within two weeks after accepting an offer and securing a student’s spot in the program.
The second payment of HK$85,000 will be made at the start of the second trimester, and the third payment of HK$85,000 will be made at the start of the third trimester.
This payment plan allows students the freedom and convenience to spread out their tuition payments over the course of the academic year, allowing them to worry less about money and more about their academics.
Living costs: Living costs change based on the lifestyle and housing preferences of the student. For a single student living on campus, however, a conservative estimate of living costs is $14,537 each quarter. Housing, food, transportation, personal, and health insurance costs are included in this.
Supplies and books: The price of books Depending on the student’s course load and academic interests, the cost of books and supplies may vary. However, $500 each quarter is a fair estimate for books and supplies.
Transit: Depending on the student’s commute requirements and available transit options, the cost of transportation varies. However, $200 each quarter is a fair estimate for transportation.
Additional costs: Additional costs could include things like entertainment, travel, and presents. Depending on the student’s particular spending habits, the price of these expenses may vary.

- CV clinic: provides consultation to students on CV writing strategies for presenting a well-structured and effective resume
- Mock interviews: conducts one-on-one or group mock interviews to coach and refine students’ interview techniques
- Personal branding: helps students market themselves professionally with a decent image and digital branding (e.g. LinkedIn profile optimisation)
- Training workshops: experienced corporate trainers and consultants are invited to conduct workshops in business writing, presentation skills, storytelling techniques, case interviews, business etiquette and more to equip students with all the essential soft and hard skills
Eligibility Criteria for CUHK MSBA
Academic Qualifications:
- General Entry Requirements:
You must possess a bachelor’s degree with at least a B or a grade B from an accredited university, or an equivalent professional qualification.
- GMAT/GRE:
Applicants to full-time programs (except MSc in ASI) must submit a valid GMAT or GRE score report. Applicants to part-time programs are encouraged, but not required, to submit GMAT or GRE scores.
Please observe:
- Score reports are valid for five years from the date of the test.
- You can apply online before your score is available.
- Applicants who submit a complete set of corroborating documents are given preference.
- You can request that the test centre mail your GMAT or GRE scores to the appropriate program office.
- English Language Proficiency:
To meet the English language proficiency requirements, you will need:
- an undergraduate degree completed in Hong Kong, a degree programme taught in English, or a recognised professional qualification with the examination conducted in English; or
- a TOEFL report with a score not lower than 550 (paper-based) or 79 (internet-based); or
- an IELTS (Academic Format) report with a score not lower than 6.5; or
- a GMAT report with a verbal score not lower than 21; or
- equivalent evidence of English proficiency.

TOEFL and IELTS results are considered valid for two years from the test date.

- Official Transcripts: Copies of Official transcripts (with a complete record of courses attended and examination results) and grading schemes of all tertiary-level studies should be submitted.
- Application Fee: Students need to submit their application fees.
- Academic Qualifications: Copies of certificates of academic/professional qualifications may include university certificates of graduation, examination certificates and proof of other qualifications.
- 2 Letters of Recommendation: Twoletters of recommendation are required; Recommendations must be submitted online.

Scholarships and Financial aid for college:
Top-tier entrants may be offered partial or full tuition scholarships, depending on their credentials. No application is required as all new students are immediately considered. However, applications should be submitted as soon as possible.
Scholarships awarded based on academic performance:
Awards of up to HK$2,000 are given to students in the top 10 percentile who have a GPA of 3.60 or higher.

Students in the top 20 percentile who achieve a cumulative GPA of 3.60 or above are eligible to be on the Dean’s List. These students will be issued a Dean’s List Certificate and the honour will be recorded on their academic transcripts.
