The Brandeis International Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA) is a STEM-designated program designed to prepare students for careers in the rapidly growing field of business analytics. The program offers a rigorous curriculum that covers all aspects of business analytics, including data management and pre-processing, management-oriented visualization, data structures and analysis, selected machine learning methods, and predictive modeling. Students also have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with current, widely adopted software tools.
The Brandeis MSBA program is unique in several ways. First, it has a strong focus on real-world problem-solving. Students are required to complete a Capstone Project in their final semester, which gives them the opportunity to apply their skills to a real-world business problem. Second, the program offers a variety of specializations, including finance, marketing, healthcare, and sports. 1. Transcripts: Unofficial transcripts in English from all post-secondary institutions attended, with the option to provide official transcripts if an offer of admission is accepted.

The criteria for their merit-based scholarship awards include leadership traits, academic achievement, personal background and graduate education focus. All domestic and international students are automatically considered for full- and partial-tuition scholarships and will be notified of any awards upon admission. Scholarships are available to both full-time and part-time students.

A successful candidate is chosen on the basis of his or her ability to make a significant contribution to both Brandeis International Business School and to ALPFA. The MSBA program is 12-months or 16-months in length and requires 41 credits. The MSBA program requires 21 core credits. Capstone options will vary for students based on the term in which they begin the program. Internships can be used for Capstone credit in the 16-month program. Students have the opportunity to take courses at other institutions in the area in related fields.
Brandeis International Business School offers application fee waivers for candidates who attend selected featured events as a “thank you” for attending. To register for an upcoming featured event, please visit our Events page. Only those events marked “featured event” automatically qualify attendees for an application fee waiver, so be sure to plan your event registration well in advance of our application deadline dates.
We accept three-year degrees from India that are accredited by NAAC at an “A” level or higher. Alternatively, if WES considers your degree to be equivalent, we will consider your application eligible for admission.
The English proficiency requirement will be waived for applicants who have completed, or will complete, a bachelor’s degree with at least three full-time academic years of study (ESL and online coursework not included) by the program start, in one of the countries listed in your program of interest’s application requirements. Applicants who have completed at least one full-time academic year of graduate study (online coursework not included) at the time they submit their application in one of these countries or have worked full- time for at least three years in one of these countries, will also have this requirement waived.
Applicants are automatically considered for our merit-based scholarships during the admissions review process, so we encourage you to submit a thoughtful, complete application as early as possible. Scholarships range from $5,000 to full tuition. Applicants are notified if they have received a scholarship in their admission letter. You may also wish to review our application requirements for other helpful information.
While the Admissions team cannot guarantee on-campus employment, there are on-campus, part-time job opportunities posted by the Office of Student Financial Services. Admitted students will receive more information through Workday, usually closer to the beginning of classes. These jobs are hourly-based and students can work up to 20 hours a week while classes are in session. During university breaks, students can work up to 40 hours a week.
