The IE MSBA Admission Committee conducted a face-to-face interview with Neha. She communicated with us regarding the following Interview Experience:
“Hi, I am Neha. My interview was conducted by IE Business School alumni. She was extremely cordial for approximately 40-45 minutes. I should clarify that it was more of a conversation or general discussion than an interview. Before the interview, I was able to participate in a class and campus tour. Because of the close-knit community, IE Business School takes great pride in its students’ friendliness. I recommend engaging in some preparatory activities because they will aid you during the interview. The following is the order of the interview questions that I can recall:

“I recently had my MSBA in IE interview. It lasted thirty minutes. The interview consisted primarily of conversation. The following queries were posed to me, to the best of my memory:
Questions asked:
What is the status of your application?
Tell me about your data visualisation.
What does an average workday look like for you?
During a dinner with your relatives, how would you describe your profession?
What do you do to relax?
Describe a time when you persuaded others to solve a problem your way.
Describe a time when you mentored an employee at your company.
Tell me about a time when you had to make a recommendation based on incomplete data. I wasn’t prepared for this question, but I was able to find a recent example, so this is one to look out for.

The IE MSBA Interview felt like a rapid-fire round, and none of the queries was tailored to my application. The majority of questions were along expected lines, based on the interview reports I have read, but there was a question about working with incomplete data, for which I had never seen a report, so I would undoubtedly prepare a story.”
