Imperial Letter of Recommendation Questions
You will need to provide the contact details of two referees (one of which must be academic*). When you submit your form, the online application system will send an automatic reference request directly to their professional email accounts so they can submit their recommendation letter quickly and efficiently online.
For applications to most postgraduate programmes we require two statements from academic referees. Please note for MBA programmes they require two professional references. It is in your interest to make sure that your referees are both appropriate and informative. If you are unable to provide two academic references, in some circumstances the College may be able to accept one academic and one relevant professional reference. Once you have submitted your application you should return here to input your referee details, where you will also be able to track the status of your references.
*Imperial will accept two professional references where applicants graduated five or more years ago.
