My journey has been quite unconventional. Everyone’s story starts somewhere, and mine began when my father left us. My mother, siblings and I were plunged into abject poverty, having to rely on government assistance programs designed for families living below the poverty line. With an annual household income of just $365 back then, we lived on less than $1 per day.
